MVL Consulting is recruiting professionals with a degree in Economics and extensive experience in treasury to join a major industrial company as Head of Treasury in the Administration & Finance Department.
Those interested in filling this position must have a minimum of 5 years' experience working in administration and finance areas.
This position reports directly to the Finance & Administration Manager. Actively participates in presentations to the company's Committee and its leaders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the treasury team
- Control and plan liquidity. Determine the financial institution to optimize the company's liquidity
- Track daily position. Detect deviations.
- Ensure cash for the development of the company's regular business.
- Make money from monetary surpluses by avoiding having idle funds. Manage the company's investment activity and make timely investment decisions.
- Conduct negotiations with banking entities to select the most appropriate means of collection and payment for the organization
- Managing risks (interest rates or exchange rates, etc.)
- Provide financing solutions with sufficient time to make an optimal decision
- Lead the Treasury team towards effective collaboration and goal achievement. Assemble the succession line. Evaluate performance using key metrics and address issues to improve it.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Manage team tasks to complete month-end closings, year-end closings, and balance sheets in a timely manner.
- Implement relevant legislation and policies
- Prepare reports to monitor the operation (daily position, debt, bank reports, etc.) and the current financial situation, as well as forecasts
- Safekeeping of cash and cash register securities and treasury documentation.
- Streamlining financial costs
- Develop financial strategies together with management
- Maintain permanent contact with the different areas of the company.
Applicants must possess:
- Start-up experience (not exclusive)
- Intermediate level of English (good writing skills)
- Knowledge of international payments and collections
- Experience in management software implementation -ERP implementation- (Not Exclusive)
- Advanced Excel level
- Knowledge of foreign trade
- Good command of computer tools (Office)
